PROJECT INTENTIONS

Rewriting the Edges of the City

A conceptual masterplan

TOWARDS AN OPEN INSTITUTION

The current paradigm shapes knowledge as a commercialised commodity that is revealed to a few instead of the many.

The intervention materialises the unification of the vastly dispersed research around the city into a space that offers opportunities for collaboration and public engagement. By bringing the different strands of knowledge together, it strengthens the university’s identity as a cohesive ecosystem and amplifies its role within the city.
